Alex Crease
Alex is a product designer and mechanical engineer who always loves making things to teach and inspire! He brings his expertise in aesthetics, materials, marketing and puns to keep Team Valkyrie cheerful and good-looking on BattleBots.
Bam Singhasaneh
Bam is a magical combination of engineer, designer, math teacher, and entrepreneur. She is Valkyrie’s newest driver and brings 250% energy to the BattleBox. She is always ready for a pep talk to get the team pumped to compete!
Peter
Schmehl
Peter is an inventor and seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in additive manufacturing and automation. He joined the team to help with manufacturing expertise, updated frame and armor design and being a fast pit-side problem solver.
Regan Tattersfield
Regan is a mechanical design engineer that works on robots of all sizes, mostly for defensive military applications. She has been working on turning her blood into caffeine but somehow always needs a nap. She loves the excitement and the strategic engineering behind each Valkyrie fight.
Leanne Cushing
Leanne has come back to captain Valkyrie after a break from 2022 to 2023. She is an experienced lead mechanical engineer with two decades designing systems for automotive, aerospace, robotics, and consumer product industries. Her passion for engineering stems from staying on the cutting edge of hardware technologies and a passion for supporting and mentoring the next generation of creatives, innovators, and engineers which fuels her work on Valkyrie.
John Mayo
John is a robotics mechanical engineer with a passion for space exploration. He has worked on robots in many environments from the subterranean to Mars. This experience helps him ensure Valkyrie is ready for launch fight after fight.
George Tan
George is an electrical engineer on paper with a passion for learning and helping people. He’s the electrical guy on the team and ensures Valkyrie doesn’t have any issues in a fight. Off stage, he spends his spare time teaching kids STEM through robotics.
